West Jones, Risher win NEJ event

The West Jones Mustangs won team honors, while Laurel’s Lance Risher was the medalist in Thursday’s Northeast Jones Invitational at Dixie Golf Club.

Risher shot a 3-over 75.

The Mustangs, led by Brandon Herrington’s 76, were at 324. Northeast Jones was second at 376 and South Jones was third with a 387. Laurel did not have enough players for a team score.
